DCX3200 Not Eligible?

DCX3200 Not Eligible?

For some reason, the regular HD box (Motorola DCX3200) that I have, is not showing up as eligible to be controlled by the Xfinity TV apps on my iphone or ipad. It was able to be controlled at some point in the past (a year ago?) but now is not. I also have a DCX3501 DVR that works just fine with changing channels and setting recordings on the DVR.

 

I called Comcast about 4 hours ago, and had them send a reset signal to the box to try resolving this issue. Unfortunately this did not work. I also uninstalled/reinstalled the app.

 

Any suggestions?

Try unplugging your DCX3200 for a minute or so and then plug it back in.

 

I suggest you do this before you leave the house or before you go to bed. It takes some time for the grid to fully load and for the cable box to fully sync back up again.

 

After you have done this, please try again and let me know the results

I used the tv app on ipad and web for many months. Then about 8 weeks ago, it all stopped working. No longer recognized thst I have any elibile cable boxes. Same as the poster.

 

Please look into this.
