DCX 3400 DVR & iPhone app, changing channels

DCX 3400 DVR & iPhone app, changing channels

I've read on here and haven't got anywhere.  I'm able to use the Xfinity app to set recordings and switch between my cable box and DVR, but I'm not able to change the channel on the iPhone app.  I've called Comcast, but was unfortunately connected to someone in India, who didn't understand my problem.  I've tried reseting the cable box, reinstalling the iPhone and iPad app, but when I log into the app, it doesn't show my DVR as a compatible device for changing channels.  Any help is great.  Thanks, Matt

Thanks!  Someone tried calling my house number today, but I wasn't home.  I gave the rep on the phone my  cell phone number that I could be reached at any time, but I'm not sure if that ever got transmitted to the right person, though.
