Commercials not playing; stopping progress of show

The issue is one where the required commercials are pausing indefinitely, preventing the show from moving forward.


So basically, as I'm watching a show online and the commercial break comes the screen will switch to the commercial box but nothing will play.  And from that point there's a lingering black commercial box with no content.


I've tried clearing my cache, history, refreshing the browser, moving the cursor past the event, etc.


Nothing is working.


How do I fix this so that the commerical will play and allow me to get back to the unwatched portion of the show?
