Comcast TV app channel problems

I've been using the TV app on my tablet and phone for a couple weeks now since I became a Comcast customer. I haven't had any issues until yesterday when I went to watch A&E which I have every morning, it says "an unknown error occurred during this request". Today I tried to watch the OWN channel which I have everyday and it just says buffering and never comes up. Tried CMT and I get the "an unknown error occurred" message. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my tablet and it still says the same thing. It does the same thing on my phone. I would watch on my tv set but I'm still waiting for a technician to call me back because the extra set-top box they sent me on Tuesday isn't working either.
