Clicking Resume starts at beginning

Clicking on "Resume" hasn't worked for me in months. If I am interrupted watching a video and then go back later to finish it, I am asked if I want to start from the beginning or if I want to resume where I left off. When I click on Resume, the video always starts at the beginning. It used to be that I could at least move the time slider to about where I stopped watching the video would then pick up at that point. The last couple of times, fast forwarding has been disabled so I have been forced to watch from the beginning whether I wanted to or not.

Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium, Firefox 11.0.

What specific videos are you trying to watch?
