Channels & Programming - Customer Service Disappointment

I have been a Comcast customer for the last 3 years, I recently moved to a new house and after a quick call I was promised I would keep the same package (TV + Internet) at the same rate, so I decided to continue using Comcast rather than cutting cable or even considering AT&T.

 

Unfortunatelly, right after the installation I realized I was missing some channels. I decided to call Comcast to review my request and the game was changed, I was offered the same package, but paying $40 additional dollars a month. When I asked for the recording to be reviewed, I was told it was going to get addressed by a supervisor in 72 hours... over a week passed and I heard nothing.

 

Coincidentially I had to stop by a XFinity store over the weekend, and when I brought the topic up the answer was "You are not going to get a call back, it is the way call centers work, you are not going to get the same package at the same price"... I appreciate the honesty, but leaves me in major dissapointment.

 

I hope someone from CS is able to address this request.
