Cannot watch Showtime shows online

Cannot watch Showtime shows online

Anytime I try and watch a showtime show, the message "This video cannot be played. Sorry, this video is currently unavailable. (Error 525I6000) Please check back soon." I have a Showtime subscription. I have tried going to Showtime's website and watching the video there (through Xfinity), but the same message pops up. This has happened once or twice in the past, but then will eventually work. This time though it has been ongoing for at least a month.

Try using a different web browser and let me know if it works. This is not a permanent solution but it will help us narrow down your issue.

Thanks for your respone. I have tried watching on Safari, Firefox and Google Chrome all without success. The same error message pops up.

Please go to www.xfinitytv.com/computer and copy the information you see on-screen and paste it in this thread so we can further assist you.

Also, please send the URLs of the videos that you are trying to watch.

Go to Microsoft's site and download PlayReadyPC at http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=21772 and once you download and install it, try playing a video again.

Go to this path and delete the mspr.hds file:

 

/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/PlayReady/mspr.hds

 

If you don't see this file, it may just be hidden. Make sure that your computer is showing all hidden files.
