Can't set movie recordings with android Xfinity TV app

In the past few weeks I've been unable to use the Xfinity TV app to record movies. The app works just fine for finding switching channels, and starting On Demand show and movies, but anytime I try to set a recording for a movie I just get the message, "An unknown error occurred during this request. Please try again."


I have the app installed on a Nexus 7 and a Samsung Galaxy S and the same problem exists on both units.
