Can not watch ABC on Internet, even when signed in.

Can not watch ABC on Internet, even when signed in.

I have Xfinity Internet and Basic TV.  I rarely use the TV service and watch my TV programs online.  At the beginning of Jan 2014 ABC required me to sign in to Xfinity in order to view content.  At the beginning of March Xfinity want me to upgrade my service to see ABC shows.  I can watch these on the basic Xfinity TV service, why must I pay twice to watch them on them online.

I am very close to dumping Xfinity ("Comcast") and their non customer focussed business practice. I had planned to do this in January, but as I could sign in to see the ABC programming I kept the TV service.

All I can say is , Google, please hurry up with your High Speed Internet service - we need you to shake these Dinosaurs (Comcast, and ATT) up so that we can have good quality and performance internet and content.
