Cable Boxes not recognized in TV App or in DVR Manager online

Hello,

 

I've got two cable boxes, both Motorola, one is a DVR and another regular HD box. Both of them work great picture wise, but I can't seem to access either of them from the DVR Manager site or the mobile Apps for my iPad / iPhone. Is there something I'm supposed to do to activate them?

It can take upwards of 48 hours for new equipment to be found on the system.

 

If you just received these today, they should be working by Monday.  Post back if they are not showing up on Monday and it will be escalated.

Still having the same issue, both cable boxes are not visible in DVR Manager or in the mobile app. I receive the following error from the DVR manager:

 

DVR Manager is available in your area. However, we are 
unable to detect a compatible DVR in your household.

 

Both my cable boxes are Motorola units.

I've notified our contact at the Comcast Corp escalation team, but it might be faster if you send a email to we_can_help@cable.comcast.com and explain your issue.  They will get the right local people involved and get it fixed.
