Bundled HD Preferred Plus charge will never change????

I hope this is in the right section.

 

I am thinking about upgrading from Bundled HD Preferred to Bundled HD Preferred Plus (so I can receive HBO)

 

I went to a chat at comcast and was quoted a figure for my area. I asked how long that figure would be guaranteed for.

 

The chat person said it would never change. I asked---- you mean that several years from how that would be the same charge. He said yes.

 

I find that hard to believe, since my services (always the same) have gone up several (many?) times in the last 4 years.

Does anyone know if this is true?

They were lying.  Any 'promotion ' rate will always increase and not only that even 'regular ' rates are subject to a once a year cost of doing business increase

I, too,  believe I wasn't being told the truth---- but wouldn't it be nice if I could hold Comcast to it?. (dream on!)

 

I wrote the CEO of Comcast this a.m (Brian Roberts) about this. Yeah, I know a 'underling' will be the one to read it but MAYBE it will be passed on to him. Maybe.

 

I may just have to call his office.

I still haven't heard back from Mr. Roberts (CEO of Comcast). I guess I should send another one?

Well, I wasn't given the choice to mark as "unsolved" so it's a clever bit of PR management. 

So this is my answer----- totally unsolved. Totally unresponsive CEO.
