Audio Lag/ Sound out of Sync on Streaming Video: HELP!

I'm having an AUDIO LAG problem with my HBOgo and Netflix streaming videos ever since yesterday when the connection was down in the whole neighborhood. Once it came back up, our audio has been severely out of sync on the laptop with all streaming videos we have attempted. The tv is fine- just the laptop is having this problem. I rebooted the router twice, but no change. Also, just to check on the computer speakers- DVD's are playing just fine. We use the laptop for streaming videos a great deal, so how can we get this resolved please?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I posted to you previously that its most likely the signal strength and asked if you plug the laptop into the router if the problem goes away.  Did you try that?  have you moved the laptop closer to the router to see if it gets better?  Have you called comcast to have them look at the modem?
