Android Xfinity TV Issues

Android Xfinity TV Issues

I have recently traded my iPad for a Samsung Note 8 (GT-N5110) running Android v4.2.2. I have noticed the following issues with "Xfinity TV" v1.6.2.001. All work as expected on the iPad.

 

- DVR manager launches a web browser. Is this how this app is designed? It is an integrated function on the iPad version.

 

- Can not program the DVR (single recording or series recording)

 

There are other, but less important, issues observed.

 

Question. Has anyone else experienced this? I have done all the obvious (reboot everything that is electric, re-installed app, tried app on other Android devices).

 

If this is what is expected, there is little use for the app ...

All those problems are true for me too anx Also I have a problem with the app not being updated since march 12th which is far behind the iOS version
