Android TV Player App works on 4G not Wifi

I am running the Android TV Player app on my Verizon Samsung S3.


I can watch movies if connected to the 4G network but cannot get from the movie list to the play screen if I am on WIFI, it just sits there trying to load the launch page.

I wonder if this is the reason the app won't work on all of these wifi tablets? I'm now starting to wonder if Comcast is doing this deliberately. I mean, why else would we see this as such a consistent issue with no word on why? Why else would we have support constantly telling us to "wait and see" with these apps with no actual progress on getting these things fixed?


Is there another reason? People have been posting these things for going on two months with no change. Any real information would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, you're driving more customers into the hands of AT&T.
