Android App - Sorry, we've experienced some difficulty starting your video

Get this error every time I try and play anything on my phone.  I have a Galaxy S3 on t-mobile.  I'm connected via wifi at home.  I've tried clearing cache / data and re-logging in.  I've even tried some videos that require me to provide my parental controls pin (Game of Thrones for example) - prompts me and that succeeds but I still get the error message in the subject.

I'm not able to get the xfinity app on my xbox to work either - never has.

Does it matter what DNS servers I use?  I run my own dns server (windows server) which I initially had troubles with watching xfinity content on my computers but that seems to be resolved.  Works fine now and has for quite some time.

Re: Android App - Sorry, we've experienced some difficulty starting your video

If I turn off wifi on my phone and just use cellular data, it works.  If I setup my dns server to forward to the comcast dns servers (75.75.75.75 and 75.75.76.76), and connect to wifi, it will also work.  I'd prefer not to do either of these...
