All files are not created equally?

It seems that Xfinity TV is finally getting fixed, in my area at least. After over 6 months I can finally watch shows online without stuttering, pausing or framedrop...almost.


While most shows play fine now, certain shows are still choppy and hard to watch. For instance, everything on HBO looks great but Doctor Who is a mess. It could be that more people are accessing the file and making it lag, but it seems more likely that sub-standard files are being sent by BBC and no one at Comcast is doing any quality assurance. Its the same reason that some commercials play so loud...no one is checking the files before uploading them.


Please Comcast, do your customers a favor and get a QA team.
