Ads will play but video will not

Ads will play but video will not

I have always used Google Chrome to watch XfinityTV online. I watched one video this morning and it worked fine. When I tried to watch another show it no longer was working. It will load the video and play the ads, but then the screen just stays blank until eventually it says:

 

Sorry, we’ve experienced some difficulty playing Nashville S3|E22 "Before You Go Make Sure You Know".

I have tried diasbling ad blocking software and even uninstalling chrome and reinstalling it. The videos are working fine on Safari, but I would prefer to use Chrome. 

 

Does anyone have any suggestions?
