6/28: Error 4007

6/28: Error 4007

I'm watching a HBO program and right in the middle of it, it went off and I got an error message 4007.  I went to the "Learn More" but it didn't give what 4007 meant.  Does anyone know if this has anything to do with Silverlight?

Thanks

error 4007 is baack...

Error 4007 is baack.... I can't finish an episode of 'Oz'; I read the previouus thread, which ended with this issue was resolved, start a new thread if you experience it again... so here I am. Is there anything I can do or is it still an issue on comcast's part?

Re: error message 4007?

From looking at packet traces, I believe the regularly recurring error message 4007 is caused by a failed security authorization server component. If this happens again, I don't think installing or reinstalling either flash or silver light is going to help. We simply have to wait until they get their security mechanism back online.

We are aware that some customers were getting this error message last night (6/28). Are videos still not working for you?

If so, please send the URLs of the videos that you are trying to watch.

Thanks,
