My surface pro 3 automatically updates and before that I was on XFINITY TV watching my shows on the DVR and now it won't even show up. It will load but then the URL shoots and becomes, it seems, infinite. Then the site re-routes to a page that says 414 Request-URI Too Large and The requested URL's length exceeds the capacity limit for this server. Did the update create this issue? And more importantly how do I fix this???
Im having the same issue on my laptop....
type in tv.xfinity.com and it will have you login and it will fix it, for some reason its not working with xtv.comcast.net for some microsoft or chrome users.
Thank you so much! It worked once I typed in that link.
Typing the URL works but the "real" soultion is to clear the "history" of whatever browser you are using.. For me it was google chrome (go to settings, then find the tab that has browser history, then clear it).. Problem by just typing the URL is that if you happen to click on an old URL , then problem will show up again..
