trying to watch Starz on the xfinity app on my roku. We are in California. Our account is in Tucson. I'm getting that I can only use the app when on my home xfinity internet. Then what good is it?

Hi sugar67, the Xfinity Stream app is working as designed. You can view recordings and other on demand content from the app while away from home but most live content and some movies may be listed as "Watch in Home Only" due to rules and restrictions set by the networks. If you would like to watch a specific show or event you must set your DVR to record the program and then you will be able to take it with you anywhere.

the Roku beta is only for in-home service that acts as a customer owned companion set top box. The Xfinity stream app allows viewing of your completed recordings, a huge on-demand offering, and the TV go channels.
