stream app will not play downloaded content from cloud DVR

stream app will not play downloaded content from cloud DVR

stream will not play shows downloaded from my cloud dvr.   Took 4 hourd to reach tier 3.  Once the app is reset only 1 show will play nothing after that.  it is version 4.8.1.021.

return the recording and play via stream. Does that work? The recording itself may have an issue.

not all programs are in the ondemand library. It is not an issue with the recording itself.  I was able to watch start the recording and then stopped it.  The recording would not resume playing either

no it did not work.   I have had other recordings not play and just gave up. Once the app is refreshed, then it only plays. I can return recordings to my dvr without an issue.

returning to DVR just means the program is made available again to watch. just wanted it to be clear the 'return' is an action not really sending the cloud recording to the home DVR.

Sounds like the same issue I have been having for a couple months now,  What device do you have? They keep telling me they will 'escalate' the issue but they keep calling me with the same old questions ' have you restarted and reinstalled the app...' .  No fix yet....

I have a Samsung S7.   The phone reps do not understand the issue

to help diagnose, have you tried streaming the same program and if so, was it successful?
