HDMI output is prevented from the XFINITY TV app due to contractual requirements from our programming partners.

Re: iPhone/iPad to tv

This is ridiculous and simply not true.  There's no way a tv programmer is doing this.  This is comcasts idea and their idea alone.  I work for NBC in NY in the programming office, lol and there's no such rule.  We at NBC and close friends at CBS across the street are having problems with Xfinity saying it's our fault when Xfinity is doing this on their own.  We did a survey in NYC and Xfinity is by far the most expensive tv service in the United States.  They should (and more importantly, have the inherit power) to enable all it's customers to watch their paid for programs any time they like.  Before X1 that's the way it was, so Xfinity blaming it on other tv stations is simply NOT TRUE.  I and at least 300 people in my building are in a pact to get rid of Xfin
