Xfinity freezes on Samsung Note Pro 12.2

Xfinity freezes on Samsung Note Pro 12.2 while using Xfinity TV app after 15 mins or so. WiFi signal is strong and other wireless devices are working fine including Samsung Note 5, iPhone and two Apple laptops. I've removed and re-instaled the app. Tablet OS is up to date also, 5.1.1. Tablet was even sent back to Verizon for requested repair for same problem but has persisted. Any thoughts?
