Xfinity TV App and Streaming

Xfinity TV App and Streaming

Greetings -

 

Am having a weird situation happening.  I have the X1 DVR; everything works fine recording and watching at home.  When trying to stream a recorded show for viewing on a hand-held device, only about 45 minutes (or some randome amount) of the show actually play.  And, it could be the beginning 45 min or the end or the middle.  Trying to stream to an IOS device running 10.2.  App is current on device.  Device has plenty of space to store the show.  Any thoughts?  Thanks in advance.

If the home DVR has the correct length then the cloud DVR had a service interruption that caused your issue.There have been sporadic random recordings reported on the Cloud DVR on other threads.

Well, I could understand that if it was a sporadic occurrence.  However, it is happening every time she tries to stream a recorded show to one of her devices.

Was reading additional threads on here and came across this one:

did you try to download the show and try to play it that way?

Download aborts.  Am attempting to replicate problem on a non-mobile device.

Why are we still performing the same troubleshooting steps when we've already determined downloads fail for myself and others?

on settings app on ipad select general, check version. what level are you running?

I'm another customer and I have an iPad mini 2 that works fine and i've downloaded many shows at one time all play fine.

As I said in the opening message in this thread, I have the latest version of OS and App.

 

Problem exists on multiple mobile devices.
