Xfinity Stream - Downloaded shows not working

Just went on a trip and downloaded about 3 or 4 one hour TV shows recorded to my ipad pro. Got on the plan and found I had unwatchable shows.  The shows were fragmented and went to 1 hour to 35 minutes with commercials. Some shows had no sound. I called up support and they said remove the app from the ipad and while you do this we will refresh you home DVR, then said try again. I tried different recorded show after the reboot and still the same. Has anyone had this issues and know of a fix?

Hello @RigDog. I can assist with the XFINITY Stream Cloud DVR issues. 

 

Just need a little more information to try and isolate the issue.

 

Can you playback these recordings on the DVR in the home?

Yes, they all played out to their full hour shows with sound and complete shows.

Hi, RigDog. When you log into your account at tv.xfinity.com are you able to stream your DVR recordings via web browser without any issue?

Yes, everything seems ok. The tech at Comcast said to Refresh the main box and reinstall the application for the iPad. Did that and still no change.  Only thing I did notice was on the main Unit, the B key no longer opens a pip when in the channel guide.

B key PIP feature went away a month or so ago.
