Xfinity Stream Beta stops streaming then powers on and off TV

Xfinity Stream Beta stops streaming then powers on and off TV

We just purchased a new Smart TV with Roku. When we try to watch something with Xfinity Stream we can watch live TV for about 3 minutes and then the picture freezes, my TV restarts, and lands on the home screen. I have tried signing out, uninstalling, and reinstalling the app to no avail. Powered the TV on and off as well. Don't have this problem with HBO, Netflix etc.

you didn't say the name brand of your TV but you might contact them and see if an update is available.

the roku is in beta and there is an issue that you can't get HD (full screen) unless your bill currently shows you pay the separate charge of $10 for HD service. You may be able to view local channels in HD if they are in HD.
