OK...i'm going to try this.
I have a Roku 3 and until a few weeks ago I was able to view Starz movies thru its app. Starz is part of my home cable bundle, so I was able to view Starz on this device. Today I was trying to watch a movie (Galaxie Quest), the Starz app on the Roku was requiring me to sign in, as if the device and account were missing. So I tried to sign in with my Xfinity credentials and nothing happens. So I guess I had to create a new account, only that on the Starz site Xfinity Comcast does not exist! Now, why the <Edited. Language> is that? I can watch Starz on my home, but not in other device!? So, I checked with the Xfinity App and I managed to stream the movie...but the resolution was so badly pixelated that it was not worth it watching it.
Here are my questions: Is Xfinity not part of the Starz app universe/connections? I would like my single signon with the Xfinity credentials to work in all of the services that are in my bundled.
If the streaming of a movie thru the Roku app is that crappy...who fixes that? when? I like my shows and I do pay a lot of money on cable for these things to work correctly as promised.
My apologies if I sound crass, but these are services that I expect them to work on demand, as promised. I searched for information on the Xfinity site to no avail. A response would be appreciated. My email: <Edited. Private Info>
Hi, Fernandobyproxy - Please do not post your private information publicly, out forum is open. If there is no option for XFINITY/Comcast in cable provider drop down - that means we don't support this app on Roku platform and we don't have an agreement with Starz. Do you have issues with pixelating for all movies or only with Galaxy Quest?
