Viewing a DVR recording from a laptop

Hi 

After numerous calls to Comcast I've just been told  that this feature no longer works.

So much for "Xfinity, Watch TV Anywhere, Anytime"

 

Can a Comcast employee confirm this?

 

Also why no comcast email address where one could ask a simple question?

Watching recordings still works (when everything is set correctly), setting recordings has been removed from the website and app.

Thanks for the reply.  I know that setting recordings has been discontinued but I was also told that viewing them also does not work anymore.   I just wish that Comcast support was not so abysmal.  Any Comcast employees out their want to respond to this post?

As Mvenanzi posted, watching recordings works just fine. Have you actually tried it or going by what you were told?
