you did not state what device nor the connection type (ethernet or wifi) that you are using.

It doesn't recognize that I'm on my home network either.  Both my iPhone (using the Xfinity app) and my PC (xfinity.com/stream) are connected via WIFI to my home network and neither will work.

run the Xfinity My Account app and select the internet tab. does it show your modem listed (usually a picture and the actual MAC address).?

Exactly. It is on my ipad and on my PC. One is the app, the other is the internet. It is intermittent. Sometimes it is ok and recognizes my network and the next time it doesn't. Very frustrating.

please be sure to hit the quote button so previous conversation in in your reply with your new reply.

Using the settings app, under wifi would you check the wifi SSID name one of your devices is connected. Be sure it is the SSID of your own router especially be sure wifi is on (not using cell data) and that no VPN is in use. The router should be using comcast's own DNS servers and not for example google's DNS servers.

The SSID name is my router's, Not using cell data, no VPN is being used, DNS primary is 75.75.75.75 and secondary is 75.75.76.76 which I believe is comcast.

In the Xfinity App, the modem information is wrong.  I assume that's at least part of the problem, but I see no way to correct it.
