Mini mode video is all black (with working sound) on iPad Pro

Mini mode video is all black (with working sound) on iPad Pro

With the latest update of the tv app mini mode doesn't show video.  Audio is fine, and expanding the video back to full screen also results in 'black' video.  The only recourse is to kill the app and restart.  

 

Repro steps:

Launch app in home wi-fi

start watching a live channel (video and audio are fine)

Press the mini-mode button in the upper right (next to the channel up/down)

mini-mode screen is black, with audio 

press full screen button 

full screen video is now black, with audio

 

Environment:

ipad pro 12.1, with iOS 10.2.1

App Version: 3.12.0.751

 

Saw a few others complaining in the App Store reviews, and I believe the latest update (Feb 18th) broke this.

Our engineering team informs me that this bug is fixed in our next release planned for 2/28. Sorry abou the inconvenience.
