Mhl and comcast or xfinity or whatever they are now

I purchased android that was compatible with mhl specifically for my kids to watch TV for the hour they are with me at work after school. It does not work. Chromecast will not either. I went through hours of trying because no where on their site or in there legal documents does it state it will not. So I drove to the comcast store in olathe, ks to find out why I was doing wrong after their tech support failed for for the 5th try. There I was told that the formats are different and that is all the rude little women would offer. She even kept smiling as she said no and I can't help as i asked for the format type. THEY NO LONGER OFFER 3D MOVIES ON DEMAND NOW EITHER. NICE TO KNOW AFTER BUYING A 2000 DOLLAR TV! MY ADVICE IS GET NETFLIX AND HULU AND ANY OTHER STREAMING OFFER THAT IS CHEAP OR FREE. THEY DON'T LIMIT YOU WITH THEIR PROPRIETARY GEAR AND FORMATS TO LIMIT WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH YOUR OWN HARDWARE. GOOD LUCK! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID.

The functions you are attempting to do (googlecast for example) are not allowed per the content producers for iphone/tablets. Desk/laptops are able to stream using Googlecast and I can't advise about "Mhl" equipment. The phones/tablets can watch entertainment on their own screens.
