Local channels

How come I cannot get local channels with this app?

Accepted Solution

Re: Local channels

Hello

If you're a Comcast video subscriber, all local channels are available for viewing while on your home WiFi network—the lineup should match what's on your set-top box, filtered to the channels you actually subscribe to. If you're looking for TV Go versions of local broadcast networks such as NBC and ABC, these channels are only available in certain markets. Mobile streaming rights have to be negotiated with each local affiliate, which is a complex process, as you might imagine.

Cheers,

LHC

if you get local channels on your X1, then run the Xfinity my account app. select the internet tab and reply back as to if a modem/gateway is listed as equipment. If there, verify the model and serial number match and reply to this thread.
