Error message 11700

I keep gettiing error message 11700 when trying to log on to Xfinity Stream.  Is anyone else having this problem?

you have 'hit' a simultaneous stream sessions limit. If you don't exit out of a stream session via the menu the session is 'still' running and counts as an existing stream. you can go to an the stream app, settings (gear) >> manage devices to see all the steam sessions that the system thinks you have running (by device name).

That's not quite right. 11700 is too many devices provisioned on your account, not too many streams. You'll need to call in and have someone resolve this for you (usually by removing unused devices, or by deprovisioning all of them).

I've removed all your existing devices.  It appears you may be deleting cookies which will require you to sign into the Stream portal each time you visit (creating a new "device" in our records). You should allow cookies from xfinity.com if you'd like to avoid this issue in the future and make access the portal easier.

 

You should be all set now (for a while at least).
