Disconnect mobile app

How do I disconnect someone that has a mobile app on their phone using my account?  They are recording and watching tv and movies without my permission.

You can't, only a comcast rep can. Send a private message to one of the reps on this board.

Hi, have you already changed the password? That has to be done before the Comcast representative can fix the problem using their computer system. That said, please reply that password has been changed. I have escalated your issue to the Comcast Team available to these forums. Check back often for a reply in this thread or via Private Message from a Comcast Official Employee.

it actually is better to wait until a comcast employee requests it to private message them.

Re: Disconnect mobile app

Hi Nancy

I've deprovisioned all the mobile and PC devices on your account. You should change your password and then log in again. The unauthorized person using your account will also be logged out, and since they won't have the new password, they won't be able to log in again.

Have a nice weekend.

if the pass isn't changed first the person just can log back in. right? normally they verify the password has been changed then deprovision.

Re: Disconnect mobile app

Rustyben, it can be done either way. Deprovisioning the devices kicks everyone out of the XFINITY app at once and will require a credential verification on each device. If a password change is done right after this, it should yield the same result.
