DVR app never seems to work

DVR app never seems to work

Hello,

 

 

i have have had an ongoing problem with being unable to play DVR recording off the iPad app. Amchd has the most consistent problem.  Even when recording works,it is cut off.

 

x1 box has no problems

would you give the symptom and any error messages that you see?

Are you able to view the TVGo channels (set filter to out of home)? if in home, are you able to view live TV? is this a recording from January and before? (http://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Stream-TV-App/TV-app-cutting-shows-off-while-trying-to-stream-on-mobile...). Many episodes are available on the on-demand system.

I am able to watch live tv.  I have not tried tvgo.  The recording are not from before January.  I tried to record walking dead tonight and again it didn't work, only 16 minutes for recording shows up on Xfinity app.  The entire recording is available on my X1 box.

The whole point of DVR is skipping commercials.  I am paying for the DVR x1 platform so that it what I expect to work.  On demand often does not allow commercials to be skipped hence my complaint.
