Cloud DVR recordings are being cut short

Cloud DVR recordings are being cut short

Some of my recordings are set for 60 minutes and only record first few minutes. The recording on the home DVR is complete. Anyone know of a fix or have the same problem?

xawacsart, it sounds like a cloud sync issue. Have you tried resyncing the DVR? 

 

Xfinity>Settings>Device Setting>Sync DVR

 

 

If that doesn't work, I can check deeper. Just send me a private message with your full name, account number and address.

Hi ken,
I was helped with a comcast tech and all seemed fixed until today. The problem returned this time with the show Seal Team. The recording on the dvr is 60 minutes but on my devices only 22 minutes. I did the dvr sync as you suggested and after checking, the cloud recording is still 22 minutes.

The problem with the some of the cloud recordings cutting short contnues even after syncing the dvr as suggested.

previous threads have reached conclusion that the customer's assigned cloud DVR server farm was 'too busy' and ran out of resources. The Comcast Employee stated they moved the customer to another server and the problem cleared up for them.

My DVR has been doing this also in past few months only on some programs.

I figured this is a way to get us to watch all the commercials....

Same exact problem here. It has been happenning for over a year now. I just called in to report this for the third or forth time. Please advise when this issue will actually be looked at and solved.

Cloud DVR recordings only playback first few minutes on PC

The recordings are fine on the DVR device itself. But when trying to playback on PC, the first recording I choose works fine. Subsequent recordings chosen will only play 4minutes and 48 secs then stop. These are hour long shows. This has been happenning for over a year now. I just got off the phone with tech support (this is the third or forth time I have reported this.)

 

When will this finally be resolved???
