Removing endless popups- Warning: you are possibly infected by....

If you have the same problem I had with this beast I found a solution which may work for you. The credit goes to one Normac from a post on Technibble.com:
Go on your ie7 browser: remove or disable the BHO browser add on: MSVPS System.
Do a regedit registry search for all MSVPS locations and delete the main file holding them. (Ignore the zone listings if you have already tried blocking this)
Search for a dll file named movctrlflm.dll. If you cannot delete it place on your desktop where you can later send it to your antivirus company.
Got rid of my problem, hope it may help you.
Notes: this comes from an ActiveX called Video Access Codec. Don't download ActiveX's to watch movies if you do not know the supplier.
