I am trying to find out if there is any way to receive a text when a specific senor is tripped (not the alarm) just normally like a door openeing.  Thinking about if the kids open the back door while I am in the front yard or something like that.

Hi theribbonman!

Yes, you can! The easiest way to do this is right through the XFINITY Home app.

Once you launch the App, choose the Automation icon and then tap to add a new Rule. Start with the template for "Notify me of Door activity."

Additional information is available here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/home-security/add-change-rules-mobile-app-secure/
