How do I stop all the static on land line phone? Sometimes so bad I must hang up.

Conect your phone directly to the modem/gateway.  If the static ceases, you have an internal phone wiring issue.  If it continues, call into Comcast @ 1-800-266-2278 or 1-800-934-6489 and schedule a TECH onsite to evlauate and make the repairs necessary.

Hi chitownjoe, I noticed an issue with the line and made a correction that could help. However your modem is also showing a lot of timeouts and drops so your issue might continue even after trying what Geek46 recommended which will usually solve the problem. If it does continue a tech might be the best next step for you. -FC
