referral message for new phone number

referral message for new phone number

We moved and disconnected the old phone and started a new phone.  I'm being told that the message on the old phone will simply be ' this service is disconncted' and that it isn't possible to say, ' and the new number is:'


is this true?

Normally, yes, people will just get a message saying the number is no longer in service. If you want a referral message you need to contact support and have them put it there.
