caller Id not working / on the line with support now

caller ID is not working. Says were sorry that application is not available then gives an error code.  I called into the voice center and have been on the phone over 1/2 hour, most of it on hold.

I work in a related field and have always been taught its completely rude to keep a customer on hold over 5 min without comming back to the line with some sort of status.

I have no idea why this is taking so long yet this is totally unacceptable.  Competitors options are starting to look pretty good right about now.

Do you get an error ETV-1000?  That usually means the settings.cr file did not download correctly.  Sometimes if the box reboots it could take a few minutes for the configuration file to download.

Push STOP, HELP, STOP on the remote really fast within one second.  It may take a few tries.

A blue screen should come up

MAC Configuration Diagnostics

settings.cr

Push the page down key and see if your information is filled out correctly..

upiPrimaryEmail

upiAccountIdentifier

upiTelephoneNumber

upiPrimaryUserName

upiPostalCode

If that's all filled out correctly push the right arrow and see that theres AMR info filled out.  Make sure next to current IP registered in AMR is filled with a number, like 10.x.x.x.

Sometimes it can loose connection to the AMR.  Power cycle the cable box if that's the case.

Still nothing, then you have to call and have them see if they can provision the box again.
