We have a router, TV and phone service.  Sometimes an incoming phone call will go directly to voice mail and no ring is heard in the house.  It seems (may) to occur when my wife and I are both on our wireless devices.  Additionally, the TV may be on.  Why would this affect the incoming phone calls and send them directly to voice mail instead of ringing?

Re: Voicemail

Internet should not afect telephone service unless internet service is down.  Generally call will go to voicemails if the phone is not answered.  If the phone is not ringing, you may want to check to see if the ringer is turned on.  Does the phone ring at any time?  You can also try ressing the modem.  There is a little hole on the back of the modem marked as reset.  Also check the Tel 1 light on the modem.  It should be solid on when not using the phone and flshing when the line is in use.
