Voice Battery replacement message received today

Why should I have to pay to maintain YOUR equipment?  My last bill was $214 ...is that not enough for this service?  I am not happy with getting messages asking for more money for ANYTHING!  If my battery is low, send me a new one with instructions to install and charge NADDA!

Comcast just started this policy earlier this year and I do not agree with it either.  Ebay has batteries for cable modems for around $15.00 and you might be able to get a free one at your local Comcast service center.
