VM indicator flashes and no VMin the queue

I am having what appears to be a Voice Mail problem--flashing voice mail indicator, with stutter-tone dial tone and no messages when I call *99  no messages when I check on comcast.com either.

 

I've taken the battery out of my cordless phone for over a minute, but that didn't help.

 

Can you reset my voicemail indicator please?

Called tech support. requested they reset  my vm account.. they did and all is fine with the world..

Stutter tone and flashing light but no voice mail in system.  Called tech but so far no results.  Another night of flashing lights ????

Call your Comcast number from another line and leave yourself a message.  Then retrieve and delete your message (*99) from your Comcast phone.  When I did this, it cleared the false message indicator and stutter tone.
