VM Msg Waiting Light Inop.

VM Msg Waiting Light Inop.

My Voice Mail Message Waiting Light worked normally when Comcast account set up and for several weeks. However, the light no longer works. VM system appears to works normally, but alert light never illuminates and when I pick uip the phone, the dial tone is steady. I dial *99 and find I have message(s). I have reset Arris modem several times. I have down powered modem, including removing battery for several minutes, but problem continues. Not sure if I need my UCID reset/reprogrammed or????

Are you getting a studdertone when there is a VM waiting?

Keisha, thank you for response. Unfortunately, the Voicemail Waiting Indicator remains off and no studdertone. I did down power the modem including removing the battery for two minutes, but

again no Voicemail Waiting Indicator after four messages left. I am receiving the msgs on my

E-Mail and if you dial *99 the msgs are queued up as normal. You can listen to msgs and they

delete normally.

Since changing to Comcast voice, I have the same problem.  The VM light has never lit and there is no stutter tone.
