Universal Caller ID doesn't work.

Universal Caller ID doesn't work.

So-called Universal Caller ID goes down 8-10 times daily.  Typical error message is "service not available." Sometimes it then reconnects itself, very annoyingly, by popping up while I'm doing something else and interrupting the process.

 

Have uninstalled/reinstalled the application, and installed all "upgrades" (which don't actually improve anything.)

Tech support was not helpful. Is there any option other than getting rid of it?

 

p.s. my pc is running Flash Player 3.4.0.2270

You might want to check your Flash version -- the latest is v11: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

thx. Downloaded latest version of Flash Player.  No improvement.  Comcast: paying attention?

The UCID app does not use Flash, but uses Adobe Air.

Have latest version of AIR.  Uninstalled UCID, reinstalled.  Installed an "update" yesterday.  Still pops up multiple times with "unable to connect" or "application not available."

I would like to see who is calling on my TV, I did downoad the application to my MAC, but when I called the number from my cellphone I did not notice anything
