I received an email stating that I could configure my voice mail preferences to send an email when I receive a voice mail. However, I followed the directions to update it only to find that my preferences are all gray, so I am unable to change anything for Voice Mail. It tells me Voice Mail is not available.
Can you be more specific about your issue please. Are you getting an error message? Are you able to log in? Are you having email issues as well?
I am trying to setup to get emails of my voice mail. These are the instructions I am trying to follow:
Switch on Readable Voicemail today - it's easy!
Sign in to XFINITY Connect
Click on the Email button
Click on the Preferences tab in the top navigation bar
Click 'Notifications' from the Preferences box on the left
Input your email address into the email notification box
Check 'Send transcripts via email'
I can signin ok. I can select email. But on the email screen I do not have a preference tab in the top navigation bar. I do have a preference option at the bottom of the list of emails. When I select that preference option, there is no notification tab or option screen I am sent to.

I am having problem accessing readable voice mail All I get is "a network service error has occurred" when I hit notifications under call manager. How do I get this service going? Thanks.
I was having this same problem (the email instructions weren't accurate). I followed the steps in THIS post and now Voicemail to Email works. Thanks for the details!!
I have done EXACTLY what the above post said to do and can not get it to work. As soon as I hit "notifications" the error comes forth saying "network service error has occurred". I can go no further.

I have tried many times over the past few weeks to change my voicemail settilngs to allow for email transcripts, but get network error message every time. I always send the error report, but I still find myself unable to edit these settings.
It is increasingly frustrating to have Comcast advertise so many features that I do not have available.
