Some people cannot call our number now that we switched from ATT to Comcast

Some people cannot call our number now that we switched from ATT to Comcast

We are beyond frustrated.

Switched over to Comast Xfinity from AT&T UVerse. Months later, we still cannot receive incoming calls to the landline from certain telephone numbers (they hear ringing, but nothing else). We came to find out the number was not ported over properly. After more than 5 hours on the phone with both companies pointing fingers at each other.

Then the porting is finally redone, but same problem, only now those numbers get the message that the number is not longer available.

Two more hours later, your service rep is telling my husband to tell all our friends and family with AT&T to call AT&T to have the problem resolved. REALLY? How do we know who has AT&T and who does not? What if the banks and doctors we deal with have AT&T. Comcast is denying any fault, even though the problemonly started when we switched over.

And we thought AT&T was bad...

Hello Frustrated94517, I can look into this for you. Can you please send me a private message with your full name, street address, and account number by clicking on my name (ComcastAmir) and then "private message me"?
