I just wnt directions on how to get voice mail from a different phone?

as far as you do not have an answering machine or fax machine, then you dial your home number, press # when the voice mail greeting comes on, then you will be prompted for your PIN.

YOU may want to read the replies before you post as the Comcast FAQ providing all instructions was already given to the OP.
