Re: Why is this crazy step required to turn off voice mail indicator?

Our problem is turning off the comcast voice mail system AFTER our area COMCAST Service (all services, internet, tv and telephone services) have been out of service.  After each disconnect we must go through the COMCAST instructions to turn off the COMCAST voice mail and use our own home recorder.

Associated with this problem is our even bigger problem is that we have lost very important messages because of lost recordings, such as Doctor's appointments ( we have lost three medical messages  in the past week).  I am on cardio and  diabetis medications (VA Disabled Vet) and MUST not miss any appointments for testing or medication changes.

We pay COMCAST $185.00 per month and we are receiving very poor service for our money.

Please set you phone service to automatically turn off your voice mail service after service failure to our $185.00 account.
